How to Care for Vintage Jewelry

With the proper care and storage, your vintage jewelry will continue to give you many years of wearing pleasure.

Cleaning of Celluloid and Reverse Painted Intaglio Lucite Jewelry

These pieces are made of plastics that are flammable and can be damaged by exposure to liquids and heat.  

Please use only a soft brush or cloth to gently brush or wipe off dirt or body oil that accumulates on your piece.  Never wash with water or any other liquid or cleaner.

Never expose to open flame, store in a cool dry place.

Please apply hairspray and perfume prior to adornment with your jewelry.
